The Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences (WCGSMS) is part of a large biomedical center extending along York Avenue between 65th and 72nd Streets on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The center's institutions, which are committed to research training and patient care, include the Weill Cornell Medical College, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the Hospital for Special Surgery, and The Rockefeller University. The great majority of the research laboratories of the WCGSMS faculty and other academic core facilities are located within the Weill Cornell Medical College-New York-Presbyterian Hospital complex and the research laboratory buildings of Sloan-Kettering Institute.
